Beskid Culture Week because of its nature, extent, duration, number of performers and concerts, the number of viewers, as well as because of the unique, colorful and enchanting atmosphere of thrilling spontaneity is an event unparalleled to any other. During its course, folklore groups presenting a wealth of original folk music, dancing and singing, rituals and customs, folk artists of his art, and cultural organizations and institutions to achieve the conservation, documentation and popularization of folk culture and achievements.
Beskid Culture Week is the oldest folk events in Poland, and even in Europe. His story began in 1964 in Wisla, but the tradition dates back to pre-war Christmas Mountains.
